This is the spec Varkarian currently has. It allows me to do fairly well in PvP and also parse quite high in raids. However, while the spec has some great advantages, it also has some disadvantages. It is also important to note that this spec is a hybrid of ball and AoE, so it does both fairly well, but neither is maxed.

Disadvantages

This spec does not include No Rest for The Dead. A pure ball spec would want this spell to allow for faster summoning of balls. I chose to have General of the Dead instead for the pet immunity. This comes in handy against demos and ToSs, but is a drawback when fighting mostly melee.

You must be able to kite with this spec or you will get your ass eaten. There are no points in the general tree for survivability, so you must be good about using lifestrike, siphoning pets, and mark od devourer or you will die a lot.

Advantages

This spec allows you to go back and forth between balls and aoe pets. It does not max out either, but provides the vast a majority of both styles of play.

The balls are fully feated through the Bursting Bomb feat. This allows you to one-shot most classes if they hit al 8 of your bombs.

Similarly, The Devourer is 2/3 feated under NF, this allows your Blood Arcanists to do nearly max damage. Along with the other included aoe buff feats, this is a great AoE build.
